fave...? comment!

Ahhhh…
Rather then randomly say "omg liek why didn't you comment on my pic when you faved it lolz?"
I'm not that one dimensional.
I understand that often you're flipping through someone's gallery or searching DA and you see something you just have to fave, but you don't have time to sit down and write me a detailed note explaining all the different shades of joy the picture brought you.
But it would mean a lot, and I mean that – a lot – if you'd take a few seconds out of your busy DA browsing session to let me know why you faved it. It doesn't have to be long, or deep. It could be something simple like, "Oh I love this picture of Moka. She's my favorite female character!" I'd appreciate that. Or… "Lolz, that chibi pic made me laugh! I can so see them doing that!" like I said. It don't have to be deep.
I'm not complaining, per se. I haven't even actually asked people to do the whole comment-before-faving thing in more than a couple pics. But I decided now that I will. It's a little frustrating to see how many faves a pic has – like 46 --  but only a few comments (and half are mine responding to others) – like 11. It actually makes me a little sad. I'm a very personal person. I like talking to people. If you have a feeling about one of my pics, believe me, I would love to hear about it! XD
Like I said, please don't get hurt by this. I don't wanna sound mean! I truly appreciate the faves! I do. But if you could find the time to say something constructive or creative… even an idea to make the pic better! (I learn. I'm still learning.)
My picture (thedarkangel13.deviantart.com/… ), is one of my faves and I put a lot of work and thought into it and I got one comment (comments.deviantart.com/1/1334… ) that made my day to read! The person who left it clearly understood a lot of the passion and thought that went into the pic. It wasn't terribly long, but the person really considered what they said before they said it.
I have several GREAT friends on here who almost always comment my work. I think that and are on top of that list. They don't always have a great deal to say, but it means the world to me that they take the time to say something.
I always try to say something nice to an artist, even if it's nothing more than, "This picture really struck me. You must have put so much time and love into it!" I admit I'm not always that eloquent, but I TRY! XD
I also admit that I don't ALWAYS comment. If I like a pic and it already has 5,000 "omg I LOVE it!!! " comments, I will just fave – unless I have something very specific to say about it. So I understand not commenting every pic that you fave.
But I would truly love to hear your thoughts on my pics!
I am very saddened by this: My cosplay pic (thedarkangel13.deviantart.com/… ) has 557 views. 557 FOR CORN'S SAKE!!! But only 6 faves and 16 comments. What's funny is all but 2 of those are me and my friend having ONE conversation. Why are all you people looking and not saying anything? Hell, I'd kill for some faves on this!

I know I am not the only person who feels this way. So maybe all you people who "fave and run" should consider that fact. I'm not one of those people who'll hunt you down and rag on you for not commenting. Really. If you honestly don't have anything to say, then a fave will suffice. But it would mean a great deal to me if you'd say what you feel.

I'd love for you to read my artist's comments – if you have the time. My sister tells me I write way to much in my artist's comment area and most of the time, she's right. But you see I have a lot to say about my art. I am actually disappointed when I see an amazing picture (usually by a really popular artist) and the only thing in the AC area is a ".". A period. Or a heart. <3. (or balls, however you wanna turn your head.) I wanna hear what you have to say on the picture. What made you wanna make it? How long did it take? What'd you use? Are you happy with it? See, 'cause I wanna read that, I assume you want to as well.
You don't have to read it, but I'd like you to. Often there's a funny story behind it. Or a specific meaning, my reason for making it. Or I offer tips on a certain subject, or I explain something very relevant to the pic itself. Maybe I just need to share something personal. Like here (thedarkangel13.deviantart.com/… ). ^^

So I think I'll shut up now. I'm typing this and it's almost 1:30. I get depressed and cold and miserable this late so I'm distracting myself with this. But I wanna get this out here and I wanna hear what ya'll have to say! XD Comment me! I wanna hear your thoughts on this.
