my BEST fanart of Rozario To Bampaia's lovely Moka-chan.

i hope they dont mind -- i didnt edit the pic any more than to adjust the color. that was why i wanted stock. i was feeling too lazy to do the background myself XD

i wanted something i could color capture so it'd be more acurate.
anyway, i really wanted to do a nice pic of Moka, which i don't have, since she is one of my very favorite characters. i sat down with volume 4 and used page 10 as a reference for the pose. later pages for close-ups of the rosario. damn her hair is hard to draw. that's always the part i screw up. but i'm proud of this one! i think it looks good! XD
i'm extra excited cuz im working on the rosario ima wear to Ikkicon IV. very awesome.
anyway, about her outfit. originally i intended to draw her "human world" outfit. the purple sweater/dress combo. well, when i sketched it, it looked too old-ladyish with the amount of her body i showed, so i thought i'd do a tank top like what might have been under the sweater. but the shade of purple made her hair look AWFUL!!! i scrolled down the color bar and i was like.... "hmmm..... FOREST GREEN!" i dont know why. i thought it was what i wanted. i added cream-colored eyelet to make is sweet and feminine because Moka wouldn't be caught dead in anything that didnt showcase her sweetness. or i would assume so, looking at the outfits in the manga.
omfg eyelet lace is hard to draw! (though if you look close you can see that i used the same small stretch of lines on the tank straps copied and pasted into 4 different positions...)
i had fun making her collar and beads. the rosario itself was ugh!
the reason she's out at night is because i drew her in a tank top and she can't go in the sun or she'll burn. and i wasnt about to draw the inside of the dorms, so i was lazy made the graveyard grounds outside the school. lazy.

PS my sister saw this and went "SPARKLY VAMPIRE!!!" (in reference to that sparkly marble fruitcake, Ed Cullen. i lol'd, but Moka's sparkly cuz she's a gorgeous pink-haired shojo princess!!! if she didnt sparkle in the moonlight, she'd be docked pay! come on people!
