my second finished pinup for Ikkicon.
Misty from Pokemon. the outfit's based on her costume she wore at the Cerulean City Gym. (IT'S A GOLDEEN!!! :XD:)***

i know Misty's about 12 in the cartoon. but to be fair that was ten years ago. with all real world reason, she should be about my age. so i'm not objectifying a child. i'm portraying what a young character might have looked like as an adult.... right?
well, it ain't porn anyway. it's pinup. a legitimate art form more than 65 years old. =D

I believe the dress here was used in the show at one point. I distinctly remember a cartoon where someone asked Misty to dress this way to attract viewers to a show. I think it was the episode with Exeggcute.

Anyway, good image overall! Technique isn't bad, shading seems to be done in all the right places as is the light placement. Background isn't bad, sort of fits the whole Cerulean City gym theme (That is water pokemon). The only complaint I have is that her feet and hands look a bit small.

I like the blush on her face as well as the small water droplet badge (the cascade badge for those in the know) on her dress. Those were some nice touches. I have seen images of Misty drawn like this before, but the artist here really approached it in a new way.

Overall, I like it. Its a nice pin-up of a more mature Misty. Keep up the good work!

They wore all the costumes for my private pin up photoshoot. They had a lot of fun together playing dress up. What they do at home is none of my business.
